Prince Kaybee Voices His Concerns To Minister Mbalula Regarding Potholes. Prince Kaybee has taken it upon himself to demand answers from the minister of transport Mr Fikile Mbalula regarding the R555 road which has been causing a lot of accidents due to potholes. This comes after social media users raised the R555 road that needs urgent attention to the minister. However, the minister said: “The R555 road falls under limpopo province the province must sort the potholes, In that road.”

Kaybee also voiced his concerns and he replied to the minister’s tweet: “Grootman Mbaks, as the minister of transport all roads are your responsibility, your department sets the service delivery mandate for provinces. The people are calling on you because the provincial departments are failing to deliver safe roads. Lets fix problems not pass blame!”

The minister however agreed to fixing the roads in a tweet that reads: “Yes i agree its a concurrent function if it was command and control it will be a different story i will simpy do it myself ,Unfortunately that is co-operative governance ,So the point am making is that i will engage limpopo to fix the road.” In replying to Fikile’s tweet, Kaybee urgd the minister attend to the potholes which are a national crisis. “Leader, thank you for the promise to engage Limpopo as this is under their jurisdiction but we have a problem of potholes in all provinces, which makes this a national crisis requiring all departments from local, province to national to find urgent an joint solutions,” said Kaybee.
