Former Idols SA contestants, Viggy and Virginia also widely known as the Qwabe twins, have been making waves even after their journey on the singing competition. The twins were discovered by Dj Tira who really helped their career and now they have popular hit singles and an album out. However, it seems singing is not the only thing the twins are good at, as they are set to show their other talent.
Viggy and Virginia Qwabe are venturing into acting and will act on Pastor Mjosty’s sitcom, 731 Nina Street, to be aired on the TV channel that is soon to be announced. Rev. Josty may have been seen on eHostela recently starred as 2Litre. And he’s also been making low-budget comedy films for the last few years. Speaking on the Qwabe twibs joining the new sitcom, Mjosty told Daily Sun that the Qwabe Twins had begun filming. “It’s exciting to work with twins. They’re bubbling, which makes everything easy. The twins have past opened up about their journey in the music industry. “We come from a rural area but it doesn’t matter where you come from if you dedicated you can reach for the stars. There is a song called Umuhle which says everyone is made with the images of God, so we are all beautiful doesn’t matter how other people make us feel,” the twins said.
