Watch! DJ Zinhle Launches ‘Indlovu’ Music Video. Award-winning South African musician DJ Zinhle dropped her latest hit song “Indlovu” (translates to elephant in isiZulu) featuring fellow South African musician Loyiso Gijana. The song was well received by fans as it currently has over 2 million views on YouTube.

Last night, 25 March, DJ Zinhle launched ‘Indlovu’ music video which premier this Friday 26 March. The music video sees Matevhu, the Idols contestant whom DJ Zinhle promised to work with, as she tells the story of hope. The DJ took to social media to post a snipet of the music video captioned: “In the #indlovu music video & short film @ZolaniPhakade tells a beautiful story of hope.. Matevhu, a talented musician & performer was a perfect choice for the lead in this beautiful story. I know you will love this music video. So much love & hard work went into this project.”

Speaking about her latest number, DJ Zinhle said, “For me, the song is about hope and not giving up. It’s a timely message as the world is going through uncertainty, Loyiso delivers this message of hope in a gentle and impactful way. I couldn’t have chosen a better vocalist and talent for this single. Loyiso is a force and together we were able to create magic.”

Loyiso said: “I wrote this song with the thought of instilling faith in myself at this hard time in my life and to give myself hope that will be carried out to the rest of the world. I knew the moment I sent Sis Zee (DJ Zinhle) the idea she would take it to the next level and she added a part of herself in it that makes this song even more special to me.”

The talented musician and media personality made an announcement to her fans on Twitter that ‘Indlovu’ music video premiers this Friday captioned: “So excited to let you know that the music video for #Indlovu ft @loyisomusic will premier this Friday exclusively on @channelotv… A big thank you to @ns_impact & @kalawajazmeer for making this possible.”

President of the EFF Julius Malema was among those that attended the ‘Indlovu’ music video launch. Oskido took to his Twitter account to post a snap of himself with Julius and the lady of the moment captioned: “Last night @DJZinhle launched her #Indlovu music video & shortfilm.
