Tells us about your very first show at 5FM?
Boipelo: “Fifteen minutes before my show, the system decided to crash. As a newbie who was basically still training, my heart stopped for a second. But instinct quickly kicked in, I called our technical producer, who guided me through, and we sorted it out. I laughed about it after but as it was happening, I wanted to scream. Funnily enough, I look back and I appreciate the moment so much because the “worst” happened and I got out of it more knowledgeable. It kind of felt like a baptism. By the time it was time for my show, everything went well, and it was smooth sailing from there on. Overall, my experience at 5FM has been amazing. Everyone who I’ve met thus far has been welcoming, willing to lend a helping hand and offer free radio advice.”
If you could join any past or current music group, which would you want to join?
Boipelo: “It would definitely have to be Jamali, Destiny’s Child or Danity Kane. I actually have a slight obsession with girl groups, what an iconic era of music!”

Boipelo: “Definitely a dolphin. Totes!! I say that because they’re so intelligent and sociable and those are two of my strongest traits.

If you could completely get rid of one month out of the year, which month would it be and why?
