The dynamic duos fans will be treated to 13 new tracks and as expected, it features a star studded lineup of artists such as Nokwazi, Beast, Nandi Madida, Dumi Mkokstad, Xoli M, and TNS, with two previously released and loved singles “Okokoko” ft Thebe and Unathi and “Ngeke” featuring Beast, Hope Mbhele and Prince Bulo.
This latest release is inclusive of a diverse sound that the duo is known for with an element of aneclectic mix of Hip Hop, House, Gospel, Yanos, and even Maskandi to mention a few. “We hope that the music leaves the listener with a sense of the fun we had putting the project together, a sense of the creative progressions we have made since our last album release, a sense of the messaging we have in some of the more activism minded music and hope that they can also shelve it into that timeless music space. An evergreen selection that is always a pleasure to live life to. ” shares DJ Naves.
“The level of mutual respect and commitment that the featured artists and producers showed during the making of this album, especially during what’s been a dreary lockdown, was very humbling. That warm energy and authenticity resonated in the music because all the boxes were effortlessly ticked, and the result is an organic sound that feels and sounds great yet far from forced,” adds SPHEctacula.
