Tresor has become one of the biggest talents on the continent. With many awards to his name from the most coveted awards organization in SA Music, the SAMAs and many more Awards and nominations across the continent, he’s become a legend in his own right and leader in the POP and alternative POP genre.

With all the success he has had so far, the Congolese-born singer, songwriter, music producer, entrepreneur and philanthropist had much humble beginnings when he first got to South Africa in 2007 immediately after he completed High School. Tresor revealed he traveled for months before he could settle in Durban.

Having released a new album, ‘Rumble In The Jungle’ with Amapiano stars, Kabza and DJ Maphoria known as Scorpion Kings as a duo, which has been doing well on the charts, Tresor took to social media reflecting on the journey that has taken him here. From being a gardener and a car guard to moving to Johannesburg with very little and now one of the biggest music talents on the continent.

“Your Dreams are valid! Don’t ever let anyone make you believe otherwise. Moved to SA in 2008 worked as car guard , security guard , Gardner and waiter to make a living. 5 years ago I was a broke musician chasing my dreams in Durban , so I packed my little car with everything I had and moved to Johannesburg. It was a hard start but here we are living our dreams louder than ever and we are about to take it to the next level. Keep going! So much has changed!God is the greatest,” he shared alongside a photo of himself in studio.
