Zakes Bantwini To Represent SA On The Global Music Panel At The Grammy Museum

South African house singer, producer and businessman, Zakhele Madida generally know as Zakes Bantwini will be joining the Global Music Panel at the Grammy Museum during the Grammy Awards week. He is the first South African House music artist to be part of the Backstage pass Global Music Panel for the Grammy Museum.

Grammy Awards are awards that are held annually and presented by the Recording Academy and give recognition to artists and their achievements in the music sphere. And Grammy museum ensures that stories of music are taught through public programming and education. The House music singer will be joined by the famous South African television and radio personality Anele Mdoda and more. They will be talking all things Global Music and African brands through the education and community engagement programs for the Grammy Museum, Recording Academy on the 31st of January 2023 during the Grammy’s week.

Zakes Bantwini will be adding this huge achievement to his many achievements. The House music singer is nominated with singer Nomcebo Zikode for their song called ‘Bayethe’ in the category of Best Global Music Performance at the Grammy Awards. This comes after his biggest hits last year, ‘Imali’ and ‘Osama’. Prior to the nomination, he received the Musician of the Year Award at the GQ Men of the Year Awards.
