Punchline Media parts ways with roster of Manu WorldStar, Dee Xclsv, Luna Florentino and Tony X
After a period of internal discussions, we as a company and our original roster of Manu WorldStar, Dee Xclsv, Luna Florentino and Tony X have decided to go our separate ways.
The past few years have been a unique and exciting journey for all of us. Working together with these talented musicians, we managed to start from nothing and make waves in the music industry together. We signed and executed various deals with the likes of Sony Music and UMG, and we launched collaborative adventures with countless brands in and around the SADC region. Along the way, Manu WorldStar landed a platinum record (“Nalingi”) and a SAMA nomination for his debut album “Molimo”.
Each milestone was extremely challenging, eye-opening and fulfilling. However, change is inevitable and we choose to go our separate ways on good terms for mutually beneficial reasons. Punchline Media continues to consult and collaborate with other talent outside the scope of full-on management. Aside from this, our true intention currently is to press the reset button and use the experience gained from this journey to take it even further. We’re excited to explore this new journey and wish the guys the best of luck on their next adventures.
