Zakes Speaks Up About His Relationship With Wife Nandi Madida

Recording producer and musician Zakes Bantwini has for the first spoke openly about his relationship with his wife TV personality Nandi Madida. He said that when he saw Nandi it was love at first sight and that he knew one day she would be his wife.

Zakes and Nandi are not the kind of a couple that is too much into the spotlight, for a long time they didn’t speak of their romance to the public because they felt that it was going to draw wrong attention. They said that they didn’t want to make a career out of their relationship. It was until Nandi fell pregnant and the couple got married that they felt free to express their love for each other to the world.

“It hasn’t been easy because as a public figure people want to know what is going on with you. Some celebs give in and people think that we are all the same and will talk, but we didn’t want that. Suddenly you become Zakes Bantwini, Nandi’s husband and the line become blurred,” Said Zakes.

In an interview with TshisaLive Zakes shared the news of how they met .”She is amazing and we just connected from the moment we met. I know that she wanted to work with me even before we had met.I got a call from (Nandi’s record label) Universal Music asking if I would work with her but at the time they could not afford me. But it was at the SAMA nominations party (that we met) that I realised she was my wife.”

Zakes wasted no time telling her that he loved her. “When she said that she loved my music I told her: ‘I love you’. I kind of overwhelmed her. It was love at first sight, for me. I told her that I was waiting for her to be ready but I wanted to just do it,” he said.

In conclusion the ” Wasting My Time” hitmaker said “I have no regrets about the way we have handled our romance so far. I am happier than I have ever been and I’m able to spend time with my son and wife without the pressure to reveal everything to the public. I love everything about my wife and she is perfect to me.”
