Samthing Soweto Finally Releases Highly Anticipated Single, “AMAGENTS”

Multi-award winning South African vocal and lyrical legend Samthing Soweto has finally released a song that thousands of fans have long-anticipated. “Amagents”was originally teased as a snippet on TikTok on the 17th of January 2022 and the sound instantly went viral, with nearly 16 000 videos created under the sound to date.

Over the last six months, thousands of fans have resonated with the poignant and relatable message behind the song, which Samthing Soweto says he wrote as an ode to being a father to a daughter in South Africa. The song lyrics address her directly and speak about the complexities of men, whilst reminding her that despite all of this he is still her loving father. The single artwork even features the artist alongside his daughter.

“Amagents” begins the build-up to a highly anticipated album in the months to come, alongside a national tour to be announced soon.
