Dj Ganyani Offers Advice To Creatives Who Don’t Respect Their Craft

Afro soul singer and music producer Fredericks Tshabalala, better known as Dj Ganyani shared a post on Instagram giving advice to young people in the music industry about respecting their craft. He is concerned about the way the new creatives in the industry downplay their careers.

Dj Ganyani is a profound artist that has done well in his career. He has made a name for himself in the music sphere and outside the industry. Ganyani has achieved renowned recognition and respect for his work. He has been in the game for too long and still maintained his work in the industry.

The Afro pop singer is unhappy about the things happening in the entertainment industry currently. Ganyani pointed out the things that the millennials do in the industry. Not respecting their work and hustle just like they do. He further added that the young ones are not as enthusiastic as the old people in the game such as the likes of Dj Fresh, Dj Ganyani and Oskido. The new ones do not pitch for work and do not take their work and craft seriously.

“The entertainment industry has become a gold for mine for artists… They now don’t respect our hustle as establishments. It’s always excuses for not pitching up. It never used to happen back in the days of you Dj Fresh, Ganyani, Oskido etc. These new cats are forever letting us down by not pitching and people that look up to them always get disappointed and we always have to explain, and it makes us look like we are scamming customers”, Dj Ganyani shared.

People representing these young artists are concerned about the behaviour and the way these artists handle themselves in the industry. He added that if these young artists want to make it big, they must have respect and great relationship with their representatives and supporters.

“It’s heart-breaking to read such concerns from establishments. Today most of us have long standing careers because of the mutually beneficial relationships we have with establishments and fans”, Dj Ganyani shared.

Over and above that, Ganyani urges new creatives in the entertainment industry to respect their work and put more work to have a long-lasting career. The creatives should also have respect for establishments that represents them.

“Please respect your bread and butter. Your career is dependent on your respect for all stakeholders”, said Dj Ganyani.
