Zahara Wins Another Major International Award And Teases Dramatic Reality Show. Zahara’s year is off to a great start. Despite all the negative press the award winning Afro-soul artist has gotten over the last year, internationally, she still killing it and adding more accolades her already impressive collection.

Zahara won Best Female Artist award for East, South and North Africa from the African Entertainment Awards, USA. African International Awards better known as AEA are held annually. These Awards give recognition to artists that have positively impacted the African music industry. “Uthixo igamalakhle linguye endinguye,” the singer said in reaction whilst sharing the news on social media with her fans. Her fans and supporters reacted under the post congratulating her on the major win.

Meanwhile, Zahara’s new explosive reality show is set to premier on SABC 1 this February the 4th. The reality show called, ‘As I Rise’ will touch on topics including the singer love life, her controversies in the media and of course music. The singer shared a spicey snippet of her show much to fans and supporters excitement and anticipation. In the snippet, Zahara is seen having a conversation with her friend, singer Vusi Nova as they talk about babies. She also talks about possibly becoming a Swati wife and all the headlines attached to her name.

Zahara has had her fair share of drama which has played out in the media and on social media. The artist has been through so much in her career, from leaving her record label to battling with the record label owners, from fighting allegations that she is an alcoholic to being accused of going to her shows and performing under the influence of alcohol. It’d be interesting to watch and hear Zahara take on all the controversies surrounding her name.
