DJ Cleo Explains Why He’s Been Keeping A Low Profile
DJ Cleo explains why he’s been keeping a low profile. Kwaito and house music DJ, DJ Cleo decided to focus on his career and do things lowkey.
In his interview at Kaya 959, DJ Cleo explained why he had not been in the public eye for some time. When he was asked by the interviewer about his whereabouts and what he is up to, the DJ shared that he did not go anywhere. He is still doing music and still in the entertainment industry. The DJ said that he is doing things in his own way now. He shared that he is okay with not being in the public eye. “I did not go anywhere. I am not a media person. If I don’t get invited to a TV show, I’m fine. If I don’t get called for an interview, I’m fine”, DJ Cleo said.
Furthermore, the DJ added he is still doing things the traditional way, the way things were done before social media and he never had PR. He may not be active in pushing his music via these platforms but he is still doing music and things on the low.
“I’ve never never paid for PR, I’ve never had a PR specialist behind my brand. I’ve just been authentic. Because also my career is older than the social media era, I still do things the organic way. If you gonna put out music put it out because you believe in it… That’s why you haven’t seen much of me because I’m okay in my own space”, DJ Cleo shared.
In addition, DJ Cleo shared that he had been busy with school and he is graduating soon. Another thing he had been focusing on is his music project called BARE and had been doing shows. He had his first show of the year on the 26th of February 2023 called the Black and Red Experience.
