DJ Tira scores an acting role on a Netflix movie. House music DJ and founder of the record label Afrotainmnet, DJ Tira has shared his latest work as an actor on a Netflix movie.
DJ Tira took to his Instagram page to share a clip of himself in a movie scene. The movie is called UThandoLwethu and it is already streaming on Netflix. “Bathi iBearings ihlupha ku Netflix. Check out my latest work…#UThandoLwethu movie streaming on Netflix”, DJ Tira shared.
UThandoLwethu is a South African movie on Netflix that is directed by an award winning director and producer Zuko Nodada. The movie was produced by The Final Chapter Production and was shot in Durban, KwaZulu Natal. UThandoLwethu is about two lovers who try to navigate their careers, romantic feelings and trying to make it in the big city full of challenges. In the movie, DJ Tira plays himself.
It is no surprise that the DJ bagged a role in a Netflix movie as he had done an acting role before. In 2017, the house music DJ got his first big movie role on a movie called My Zulu Wedding. The movie featured some of the people from the entertainment industry such as Kelly Khumalo. His fans and supporters congratulated him for bagging another acting role on a Netflix movie.
