Former Minister’s spokesperson ventures into music. Media practitioner and former spokesperson of the Minister Fikile Mbalula has ventured into the music sphere.
The media practitioner who is a multifaceted individual with a lots of talents is pursing another dream of hers. From being a media practitioner, spokesperson and now a musician, Ayanda is excited for her new journey and music career.

Ayanda took to her Instagram page to share a sneak peek video of herself working on her new music. She shared that she will be releasing her new debut album soon. The album is set to be released on Human’s Right Month, March. The album is titled We The People. The media practitioner is going to share her experiences that she could not share as a News Anchor and spokesperson through her music.
“Status quo is such that we can no longer stay silent. My debut album:” We The People” will be out in March, Human’s Rights month. The songs hold a mirror to society and articulate what I couldn’t say as a News Anchor or spokesperson. The process has been liberating, here’s a peek”, Ayanda shared.
Additionally, singing and performing is not a new thing to Ayanda. She shared that she has been into music since she was young. She sang for her church choir and was once featured into two hip hop albums. She further added that she used to perform at events and restaurants.
“I’ve been singing and writing music for as long as I can remember. Growing up I sang in the church choir, I even featured in two hip hop albums and would sing impromptu at restaurants or events when asked. Now I figured that life’s too short not to do what you love, so here goes”, Ayanda shared.
People must expect new music from the media practitioner.
