Murda Bongz finally pays tribute to AKA. Musician Bongani Mahosana better known as Bongz has broken his silence and shared a heartfelt message for AKA after his passing.

After trending for some time, people on social media were expecting the musician to say something after his wife DJ Zinhle’s baby daddy passed away. Following his burial, Bongz took to his Instagram to share a deeply felt piece for the rapper with a picture of AKA holding his daughter Kario, whom the rapper shares with DJ Zinhle.

Bongani wrote, “Dear Kiernan, I took a little longer than I had to write this but to be honest I didn’t know what to say. As a fellow musician, thank you bro, thank you for inspiring all of us to do better. Thank you for the love of music in the quality of music you created. Your catalogue will be one of the greatest catalogue of all times”,

He further added, “As a man, I learned something from you, know your worth, no matter what happens in your life, always know your worth… As a father, you were amazing, you did it all for Kairo and that shows in the love she has inside of her. Your legacy will live on. May you rest with the many legends we look up to. Till we meet again, Dad motion”.

Bongani was not able to attend the rapper’s funeral due to observing his cultural protocol, they said.
