Prince Kaybee on women organization’s insensitive comment following AKA’s passing. House music DJ, songwriter and producer Prince Kaybee shared how he feels about bringing up someones death in an insensitive manner and having no respect for someone who has passed.
Prince Kaybee took to social media to question the change when it comes to gender equality after a women’s organization called Women For Change tweeted, “Fly high, Anele, we miss you”. The organization’s tweet was met with outrage from tweeps.
The DJ shared that he understands why the organization is remembering Anele Tembe. Prince Kaybee questioned the Organization’s integrity and shared that it should have more respect for the deceased. He also shared that women have made so much progress when it comes to gender equality but still say such comments on a sensitive matter.
“I get the requital posture, but what about the integrity and progressive change ya’ll have made? All the headway, for woman to tweet this”, Prince Kaybee tweeted.
People on Twitter agreed with the producer saying it was an unnecessary thing to do. They added that the organization did not have to bring up someone else’s passing and these organizations are toxic, and the tweet was vile. “These organizations are so toxic. I wish women can open their eyes and see them for what they really are”, said one of his followers.
