Sho Madjozi joins line up for the MTN Bushfire music festival. Singer, rapper and songwriter Sho Madjozi is featured on the upcoming music festival with international stars.
MTN Bushfire fire shared on Instagram a number of artists that are featured on the 2023 line up. Sho Madjozi has made it on the list. “One of South Africa’s brightest and boldest stars Sho Madjozi. Audacious energy and colourful esthetic make for a powerful stage presence, felt even before the first reverberating bassline drops. Her music combines Hip Hop hooks with catchy Gqom- rooted melodies, fusing languages, genres and fashion; paying homage to Tshonga heritage while embellishing it with a global sensibility”, MTN Bushfire shared.
MTN Bushfire is one of the largest music festival in the African continent that has been running for almost 16 years. The music festival brings together different artists from the continent to celebrate unity in diversity. The event takes place in Swaziland every year. This year’s 16 edition will take off from the 26th of May until the 28th of May 2023 in Eswateni.
The singer is on the line up alongside other South African outstanding artists including, Ami Faku, Black Motion and Stogie T. She will also be sharing the stage with international sensations including Velesemi, Pongo, Ibeyi and more. More artists featured on the line up will be revealed soon.
