Yvonne Chaka Chaka on receiving a Doctorate and on her BVSM Awards. It seems like the singer and songwriter Yvonne Chaka Chaka’s year started off on a good note.
Earlier this year, Yvonne shared that the music awards she initiated were back after a two year break. The BVSM Awards for 2023 took place earlier this month and they were a success. Yvonne is the founder of these music awards. BVSM Awards are an award ceremony that recognizes and identifies backing vocalists and session musicians who worked in the years of 2000- 2005.
Yvonne recently took to social media to share another achievement of hers. She shared a video of herself receiving her Doctorate certificate on account of her Doctor of Performing Arts Honours Causa from the University of Tshwane. On her caption, she added that receiving this qualification and people supporting her, gives her courage to study further and she is not too old to learn and gain knowledge.

Industry peers and people on social media congratulated the award winning singer for such huge achievements.
