Candy Tsamandebele Reflects On What She Has Accomplished In The Music Industry
Candy Tsamandebele reflects on what she has accomplished in the music industry. Singer and songwriter populary know as Candy Tsamandebele shared her achievements since the beginning of her music career.
Taking to her Instagram page, Candy shared a number of things she has done and awards she has received since she ventured onto music. Candy has done exceptionally well since she debuted onto the music scene. She has released hit songs that made her gain popularity including Tsamandebele featuring Oskido.
The singer shared that she started venturing imto the music business back in 1993 as a songwriter and backing vocalists. She joined an artist called Penny Shaka Bundu and he helped her grow into a real artist, and she decided to go solo in 2009. She also shared that after becoming a solo artist, she released her debut album titled Siki (Five Cents) working with Sony Music Africa.
“… Let me share how all started, using my mother tongue #kholobedu and Tsonga from day one of my music journey. I started the music business as a songwriter and backing vocalist in 1993 at the late Peter Teanet back . Joined @penny_penny_shaka_bundu in 1994 worked with him almost 9 years and for me I just knew that was still schooling learning till 2009 and that’s when I decided to go solo with my first album Siki (Five Cents) partnered with @sonymusicafrica with Siki (Five Cents). I managed to buy my first car and 3 bedroom flat”, Candy shared.
She further added that after she released her first album, she got signed by a record label called Kalawa Jazmee by Oskido. When she joined the label, she worked as songwriter and backing vocalist on Brothers Of Peace. She collaborated and worked with the most outstanding artists including Vetkuk and Mahoota, Black Motion, Trompies, DJ Maphorisa and more. After leaving Kalawa Jazmee, Candy shared that she started her own recording called Candy Tsamandebele in 2011 but signed it first artist in 2020.
“Then later joined the University off Kalawa Jazmee and worked as a songwriter writer and vocalist on BOP. Did a lot of collaborations, writing songs for @trompies_sa @vetkuk and @djmahoota, @realblackmotion including @djmaphorisa and more. Graduated from University of Kalawa Jazmee in 2020 #11yearsatkalawa and started my own record label that was official registered in 2011 counties taking care of @candytshamandebele.za business. Signed our first artist Candy Tsamandebele April 2020”, Candy shared.
Additionally, the singer added that in the period of her music career she has released a total of 4 albums and has received 12 awards. She has also received certificate of recognition for her phenomenal work in the industry. “I have 4 albums and more than 12 awards and many certificates under my belt”, Candy shared.
