J Something shares his feelings on being featured on AKA’s album Mass Country. Singer and group member of Micasa band J Something had an honour to make a song with the late rapper AKA for his last album Mass Country.
J Something took to social media to share that he did a song with the late rapper that was featured on the album. AKA’s album titled Mass Country was released on the 24th of February 2023 after his passing. Two weeks after his passing, he had worked with a number of artists on this album including J Something who was featured in a song called Amapiano.
The singer shared that he is honored to be part of this special album. He went on to say that he is the one who co- wrote the song and urged people to listen to the album. “Honored to be part of it… Co-wrote a track called #Amapiano. Let’s run up the numbers #Masscountry OUT Now!”, J Something tweeted.
Paying tribute to the late rapper, J Something shared in his post that he was elated that he got the chance to work with him and he is going to miss working with him. “Gonna miss the vulnerability we shared. Gonna miss the random 3am phone calls. Gonna miss talking to you about love. Gonna miss making music with you. Gonna miss the confidence you always gave me and the words of encouragement”, J Something had tweeted.
Fans and supporters shared how good the song is and said that it is one of the best songs from the album. “My absolute favorite track on the album. Probably played it like 10 times yesterday. You said homage to it masque Ada and you did is so eloquently”, said one of his followers.
