Lamiez Holworthy urges people to not fall for scams made under her name. DJ and radio personality Lamiez Holworthy is the latest celebrity to deal with scammers pretending to be her.

Lamiez took to her Instagram story to warn people about the number of instagram accounts that disguise as her on social media. The people behind these accounts lure their followers to get into the trading business and take their money. She shared that the only account that belongs to her is the one that is verified. She added that she is not involved in any trading business and people must stop falling for these scammers.

“The only account that is mine is the verified one on top, I do not trade or know anything about it. Stop falling for these scammers which I have spoken about countless times”, Lamiez shared.

She went on to add that she knows people are desperate for easy cash and that times are tough, but people must always be on the look out for these criminals. “I know that times are tough and we’re all desperate for a miracle but- why would you believe anyone who says they can make you one hundred thousand rands in a week? Can we all be wary and not fall for these silly scammers. I’m also tired”, Lamiez shared.
