Moonchild Sanelly opens up about being raped after being slut-shamed. Singer and songwriter Moonchild Sanelly responded to an insensitive comment by revealing that she was sexually assaulted.

After posting half naked photos of herself, Moonchild Sanelly got attacked and critics threw all sorts of disgraceful comments at her. Critics came after her saying she cannot expect people to not sexualize her body when all she does is post naked pictures of herself on social media. They further added that she must have some self respect and must set a good tone for young girls. “Moonsanelly you do not respect your body, worse part is that you are an example to young girls…”, said one of her followers.

Thereafter, the singer responded revealing that she was sexually assaulted in her own home and it happened when she was fully dressed. She also added that people must leave her alone and keep their opinions about her to themselves, she will keep on posting her pictures. “So sad to think I’ve never been raped half naked but in tracksuits, in my own bed! Stop being stupid. I’m always myself. Deal with that or leave me alone with your opinions above my body”, Moonchild Sanelly tweeted.

Her fans were sympathetic towards the singer. They urged her to not pay attention to the distasteful opinions about her and block anyone who comments anything negative.
