Msaki drops her last album before taking a music break. Afro soul singer and songwriter Msaki blessed her fans with new music after revealing that she will be taking a break from making music.
Msaki took to the Podcast and Chill with MacG to announce her departure from the music sphere. She gave internal justifications of why she taking a break from the limelight. Thereafter, she shared a list of dates for her gigs before she go. Msaki has now released an album for her fans to enjoy while she is gone.
Msaki’s team took to her social media pages to announce that her new album is out now. Her new album titled Synthetic Hearts was dropped on the 10th of March 2023. In her new album, she collaborated with the lead singer of Urban Village Fam named Tubatsi Mpho Moloi and a French cellist and composer from No Format Record, Clement Petit. They shared that the album is available on all digital platforms.

In the review by The Guardian, Msaki shared what the songs on her album mean and how the album came about. “These are not clear love songs with sentiment. The tracks on Synthetic Hearts twist and shift in the thorny complexities of the feeling instead.” It feels like the beginning of the end or the end of the beginning. It’s not very clear… But there are a lot of invitations and there’s a lot of vulnerability which is probably reflective of where we were as well”, Msaki shared.
Her fans are elated that the singer singer is leaving them with some soulful music before haitus. “This kinda music makes you feel okay about a lot”, said one of her followers.
