Prince Kaybee weighs in on the unemployment created when an artist dies. House music DJ Prince Kaybee shares his concern about the number of people added into the unemployment chain because of artists.
Prince Kaybee took to his Twitter page to share a number of positions and jobs that people lose when an artist dies, fall off, or decides to quit. He named a few jobs that people lose including road manager, booking agents, promoters, make- up artist, stylist and more.
“When an artist/musician dies, falls off or decides to quit, their is a chain of unemployed bunch that will add on the unemployment chain. Road managers, booking agent, promoter, make up artist, stylist, manager and dancers. What did I miss”, Prince Kaybee tweeted.
He further added that not only do people hired by artists for these positions loses their jobs when something unfortunate happens to artists, but also the individuals helping the hired people. Numerous people get affected. He shared that not only the people he mentioned suffer but there are so many other employment positions that people lose “The list of people/ titles mention do hire also hire people in their lives, so it’s longer than it seems”, Prince Kaybee tweeted.
Tweeps shared how this is a sad instance and also added a number of other titles that people hold that they later lose because of an unfortunate circumstance. “We all know artists usually at the top of a structure that feeds many people. We need to understand they are businesses and every existence brings food to many people’s tables”, said one of his followers.
