Singer Stoan not backing down after being dragged over his EFF tweet. Musician and group member of Bongo Muffin Stoan got attacked following his tweet cursing EFF but is unbothered by the whole situation.
After Stoan’s tweet saying, “F**k EFF”, tweeps bit the musician’s head off for throwing a curse word to the national party amid its national shutdown protest. Tweeps were not happy about his tweet as they felt it was disregarding the shutdown of people protesting for a better life for their communities, however the singer was not moved by the tweeps’s comments.
After his tweet, people shared how they feel about his tweet by throwing all different kinds of negative comments towards him. Tweeps shared that the musician acts like he is not affected by the serious issues of this country including loadshedding. Some said the reason why he is against the EFF is because he is allegedly a beneficiary for the ANC tenders in the North West. “Finally have a taste of tender money and you think you can piss in everyone’s mouth. Go back to your little corner sir”, said one of his followers.
The singer took a decision to respond to tweeps and what was being said about him. He was not phased by the backlash and shared a video explaining why he said what he said. He shared that he is also allowed to have an opinion when it comes to such matters. He also shared a number of reasons why he is against the EFF.
“They are swearing at me, like I’m not supposed to have an opinion. A politically intolerant condition. I’m getting cooked.,who has done nothing for me?… Others mentioning characters I’ve played, I mean god damn bro, try something harder”, Stoan shared.
