DJ Cleo announces new single following hiatus. House music DJ and producer DJ Cleo is set to release his first single of the year after not releasing music for a while.

The DJ took took his Twitter page to ask his fans when he should release his new single and gave them a set of dates to choose from. His fans responded by saying that he should drop his single. He recently took to his social media pages to announce that his new single is ready and will be dropping soon per his fans request. He shared that his new single titled Bayezweni will be released on the 6th of April 2023 midnight. “Happy Easter in advance. #Bayezweni drops Wed midnight”, DJ Cleo tweeted.

The DJ spoke out on why he stepped back from the limelight. In his interview at Kaya 959, DJ Cleo was asked by the interviewer about his whereabouts. He responded by sharing that he is now doing his thing lowkey. He also shared that the reason why he had not been releasing music is because he was still busy with school.

DJ Cleo last released music early in 2022. His lastest single is titled Balele featuring CS Monka. He last released an album in 2019 titled Esikhaleni 11. Overally, the singer has an amazing catalogue and has produced successful singles and albums including his debut album titled Eskhaleni released in 2004 and a single titled Facebook released in 2012 that earned him 3 awards.

The DJ’s supporters are elated that the singer is finally back into making music and cannot wait for his new single to be released.
