J Something on the panel of a new music show show. Singer and songwriter J Something is one of the judges for the new show set to on TV screens.

Taking to his Instagram page, the member of Micasa announced that he will be one of the judges for a new show called The Masked Singer SA. The show is set to premier from the 2nd quarter of the year 2023. It will premiere on SABC 3 and SABC 1. The new reality show is about celebrities and well known entertainers singing whilst masked and the judges have to guess who they are.

J Something shared how honored he is to be part of the show and shared about his experience working on the show. “Massive news. My friends! I’m very proud and honoured to let you know that I will be one of the “detectives” on The Masked Singer South Africa (Swipe to see the other detectives)I have never had so much fun making TV! This show is unlike anything else it is essentially a top secret singing guessing competition game where our job (you included) is to guess who is behind the mask!Honestly every single celebrity that has been unmasked has left my jaw on the floor because wow I didn’t know they could sing like that”, J Something shared.

He went o to say, “I’ll be sharing a lot more in the next few weeks but I just wanted to share this moment with you because I am proud and I know you going to love this show! A special shout-out to everyone involved in the making of this show and an extra special shout out to you @zintathu for believing in me for this role … can’t wait to make TV history”, J Something shared.

J Something will co judge the show alongside other South African celebrities including Sithelo Shozi, Somizi and Skhumba. Comedian Mpho Pops will be the host of the show.
