King Monada clarifies speculations about Makhadzi not showing up at his event. Singer and songwriter King Monada has slamed speculations about Makhadzi allegedly not pitching up at his event.

After rumours were flying around about Makhadzi not showing up for her performance at King Monada’s show, King Monada broke his silence defending songstress Makhadzi. Monada had a Easter fest show in Tzaneen, Limpopo on the 8th of April 2023. Quite a number of artists were on the line up including Makhadzi.

King Monada took to his Facebook page to give clarity on the story. The musician shared that the people who dispersed the rumours that the songstress did not show up for her performance should not blame it on her. He shared that he takes full responsibility for the what had occurred. The singer went on to say that people enjoy stirring beef between him and Makhadzi and he is not going to entertain it.

“Whoever wants to write bad things about Makhadzi for not pitching at my event should rather write about me. I take full responsibility. Some people enjoy seeing us fighting and are dah”, King Monada shared.

Makhadzi also responded to the singer by thanking him for explaining and setting the record straight on the matter. Taking to the comment section, she stated that she appreciates Monada for taking responsibility and for being a bigger person. “This is too deep and I appreciate you for being a bigger person. 2023 is for love and peace”, Makhadzi shared.

In 2021, the two artists were at loggerheads following Makhadzi not including Monada on a song titled Ghanama. They fought over the ownership of the song. After some time, Makhadzi went on to social media to share that their beef has been squashed and they are now in good terms.
