Mthandazo Gatya on how he feels about his first METRO FM awards nominations. Singer and songwriter Mthandazo Gatya expressed his feelings following METRO FM awards nominations.

After being in the music industry for a while, Mthandazo finally gets the recognition he deserves. After METRO FM revealed nominations for the 2023 awards, Mthandazo Gatya bagged two nominations. He received a nomination under the category of Best Male Artist and Best House Song. Mthandazo could not contain his excitement and expressed how he feels in his recent interview.

Speaking to The Journalist DJ, Mthandazo spoke about his nominations and his collaborations. He shared that he is happy that God finally answered his prayers. He also shared that he would be elated if he secures the awards and he will be also okay if it does not happen as he finally got recognized.

“I’ve been nominated for Best House Song and Best Male Artist. I’m very happy to finally see God answer the prayers, you got to be happy. I’m really happy I don’t wanna lie….Anything is possible, I don’t think God brought me this far just to leave me. I’d be happy if I win, but also the recognition, I’m really happy. And moving forward there’s a lot of music to drop…”,Mthandazo Gatya shared.

The singer had another victory he celebrated this year. He got a chance to meet international sensation John Legend. After their performance together, the two are now working on new music. Mthandazo collaborated with the international star and Grammy winning DJ Black Coffee On their set to be released remix titled Nervous. Mthandazo Gatya is indeed making his mark in the music industry.
