Zonke Goes Old School For Her New Album
Zonke goes old school for her new album. Afro soul songstress does things the traditional way as her new album comes in a CD format.
Back in the days, music came in a CD format and people would buy CDs to listen to the music, but it is now considered. Times have changed, artist now put their music on digital platforms such as Spotify, Deezer, Apple music, YouTube and people need to have these platforms to stream the music.
Zonke recently took to her social media pages to share that her new album titled Zonke Embo released earlier this month is sold in CDs. It is only available in CDs, USB and Vinyl and cannot be found on digital platforms. The singer shared she decided to go old school with her new album and the album has 15 tracks. “We’re completely going old school with this 15 track album. Details on CD, USB, and Vinyl orders will follow”, Zonke had shared.
Commenting on the singer’s post on Twitter, tweeps were questioning the singer’s decision to go old school and make her album come in CDs and USBs only as they are outdated. Whilst some were questioning her, some were in support of the singer and had already made orders for her new album.
