Kelly Khumalo celebrates her son’s 13th birthday. Afro soul songstress Kelly Khumalo celebrated her oldest child’s birthday as he turned 13 on the 11th of May 2023.
Kelly Khumalo took to her Instagram page to wish her son a happy birthday. The name of her son is Christian Khumalo whom she shares with musician and TV personality Jub Jub. The singer shared a reel that displayed pictures of herself and her son and snippet pictures of the birthday boy’s party celebration. “#ItsA13! Happy birthday son, thank you @chefnzuzaofficial for the cupcakes”, Kelly Khumalo wrote.
Kelly Khumalo had refused to allow her son to have a relationship with her father and she shut the door of co parenting. In her interview on Behind The Story 2 years ago, the singer had stated that she is not open to co parent with someone who has put her through a lot. “I’m happy with my son hating me later. I’m totally happy with that. I’m raising a honorable man the best way I know how. What I have experienced at the hands of that person is enough for me to close the door completely”, Kelly Khumalo had shared. (Watch video below)
Despite being denied access to his son, Jub Jub also took to his socials to wish his son a happy birthday. Jub Jub penned a heartfelt birthday message for his son and poured his heart out .He shared that he dedicated his new song to him and decided to release it on his birthday. The title of the song is Soldier featuring hip hop rapper Emtee.
“HBD to my champ. I dropped #soldier today on your birthday because that’s exactly what you are, the reason I keep pushing everyday. You deserve this day today and many more my boy. Enjoy it and know that daddy loves you”, Jub Jub wrote.
Kelly Khumalo’s fans and followers passed their birthday wishes to her son.
