The singer also went on to share that a lot of people in the music industry do face these struggles. She stated that the people in the music industry might appear to have it all figured out, but they also need to be looked after. “Guys these industry people do cheat artists out their money. Ya’ll think fame is money. Wait for the next artist you’re are in awe of to reveal the truth. Do basically ya’ll pressure yourselves with people who too need to be looked after legally, monetarily, mentally, wholesomelly. People are mean things”, Moonchild Sanelly wrote.
She went on to say that South African artists need to learn more about the music business and how to handle their own things. “As artists, a lot of the time in SA, the main boys collect the coin. All I pray for is for artists is to understand their music business. I even do curriculums internationally just teaching about music biz in seminars. It’s lacking at home when you know your story you are a b*tch”, Moonchild Sanelly tweeted.
