Tweeps weigh in on Boity Thulo’s answer about not having a university qualification. Tweeps added their two cents following musician Boity’s answer regarding a question about a university qualification. 

A number of South African artists do have university degrees or qualifications and they have been open and vocal about that. However, this is evidence that one can become successful without having an educational certificate. Boity is one of those people who never obtained their qualifications but are doing well in their respective crafts.

Taking to her Twitter page, Boity was honest with her followers about her education. Following being asked about having a university qualification, the musician shared that she does not have any qualifications. A follower posed a question after Boity was talking about her first year university experience that read, “Do you have a university qualification”. Boity did not bite her tongue and responded with a no. “Nope”, Boity tweeted.

Tweeps took to the comment section to share their opinions about her answer. The musician was accused of lying and they shared that she once shared that she has a degree in Psychology and Criminology from Monash University in one of her alleged interviews. Others shared that she once shared that she dropped but does not need a qualification because she has a lot of money and she is good at what she does. “Well a university qualification doesn’t matter when you have coins”, said one of her followers.
