SPIRIT OF PRAISE RELEASE HIGHLY ANTICIPATED ALBUM “SPIRIT OF PRAISE, VOL. 9”
Spirit of Praise is a well-known Gospel group that has been active in the music space for over 15 years with their first “Spirit of Praise” live album being released in 2009.
The choir has won the hearts of many through the album series as they gathered fans to sold-out arena shows where they would host praise and worship album recordings.
The choir has collaborated with the likes of Collen Maluleke, Mpumi Mtswenu, Omega, Canaan Nyathi, and many more renowned Gospel stars. This 26-TRACK album features a star-studded lineup from such as Dumi Mkokstad, Takie Ndou, Mpumi Mtsweni, Ayanda Ntanzi, Keneiloe Hope, Benjamin Dube, and many more.
Spirit of Praise 9 was recorded at the Sun Bet Arena on the 27th of May to a sold-out crowd of 8700+ people.
This amazing spiritual journey has been building up with 3 lead singles which have been released individually over the last 3 weeks.
The album will not only take you on a holy moment but will have you feeling more spiritually connected to God as each song becomes an anthem for daily battles and celebrations.

ABOUT SPIRIT OF PRAISE
An award-winning African gospel collective, Spirit of Praise is the flagship concept of Spirit Music Group, a Johannesburg-based music production and distribution company. Comprised of some of South Africa’s foremost gospel artists, the project is a showcase for the company’s myriad soloists and vocalists.
Commencing in 2008 with a two-volume set of material recorded live at the Pretoria State Theater, Spirit of Praise has gone on to release several volumes in the series and has earned multiple Crown and South African Music Awards. Notable artists who have lent their talents to the project include South African gospel legends such as Benjamin Dube, Zaza Mokheti, Tshepiso Mpotle, Omega Khunou, and Papane, and newer artists like Tshepang Mputhi, who made her debut on 2018’s Spirit of Praise 7.
