Khaya Mthethwa & Rorisang Thandekiso to Host Crowns Awards
As the excitement builds for the upcoming 16th annual Crowns Gospel Awards 2023, we’re thrilled to have two amazing hosts that will surely make the event memorable.
Khanya Mthethwa who brings a wealth of experience to the awards, having previously hosted the awards. He’s also a talented artist and award-winning performer, adding another layer of excitement to the event. Rorisang Thandekiso is a singer, TV Host and media personality, brings a fresh and vibrant energy to the stage. Together, they will keep the audience engaged and entertained. We can’t wait to see what they have in store for us on the big night! 2 days to go before the gold carpet event to be hosted for the first time in Johannesburg, the awards take place Sunday, 26 November, at the FNB stadium in a 10 000-seater dome marque. Dressed in the most stylish garments, more than 300 gospel artists, producers, celebrities and members of the media will attend the gold carpet Crown Gospel Music Awards to be televised at FNB Stadium.
“As Gauteng, we are honoured to host The Crowns. I am blown away by the level of excellence displayed here and the talent that has been on stage,” the province’s arts, culture, sports and recreation MEC Morakane Mosupyoe said. “As Gauteng, we would really love to keep The Crowns for another seven years.”
Over 120 South African celebrities who have confirmed attendance for the awards included Winnie Ntshaba, Sophie Ndaba and Mcdonald Ndou.
