CocoSA Music Records Severs Ties with REPREZENT.AFRICA Amid Misappropriation Allegations

CocoSA Music Records has officially announced that it is no longer represented by REPREZENT.AFRICA following early findings from an internal investigation that revealed suspected malicious activity and misappropriation of funds. The label has warned all promoters, event organisers, and venue owners to immediately stop making payments to any individual or account previously linked to REPREZENT.AFRICA. Moving forward, all financial transactions must be processed solely through verified CocoSA Music Records channels to ensure transparency and security.
The label also emphasized that bookings will only be confirmed upon receipt of a formal invoice from an authorised CocoSA representative, with the correct account details provided during this process. Any unofficial or third-party bookings will not be recognised or honoured.
Furthermore, CocoSA Music Records confirmed it will not be attending or performing at any events arranged through REPREZENT.AFRICA until further notice. The label expressed regret for any inconvenience caused but stressed the importance of protecting its brand, artists, and partners.
As the investigation continues, CocoSA remains committed to resolving the issue transparently and promptly, urging all industry stakeholders to remain vigilant and engage only through official channels. This move underscores the critical need for due diligence and trusted partnerships within the music industry.
