Sosoboy Fosho Drops Afrotrap Brilliance with Pink Roses

Rising Afrotrap artist Sosoboy Fosho has officially released his debut project, Pink Roses EP. The 6-track body of work blends Hip-Hop, R&B, Afropop, and isiXhosa lyricism, delivering an emotionally rich and genre-spanning experience. The EP is now available on Spotify, Apple Music, and all major streaming platforms.

Pink Roses features standout tracks such as “Mine,” “First Lady,” and “Inyembezi zoThando,” exploring themes of love, vulnerability, and black romance through Sosoboy’s signature Xhosa storytelling.

The single “Mine” gained viral traction on TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram, particularly in the Eastern Cape, generating thousands of organic engagements. Its popularity was further boosted by a feature on e.tv’s House of Zwide, attracting attention from international label Asanda Empires.

Following this momentum, Sosoboy Fosho signed a distribution deal with Sony Music in New York via The Orchard and 50/50 Global Muzik Inc, extending his reach beyond Africa. He has also been featured on SABC1’s Expressions, e.tv’s The Morning Show, and radio stations including Umhlobo Wenene, Ukhozi FM, and TuFM.

Pink Roses was crafted in collaboration with producers King Wave and Beat Khanki, and features artists including Vise, ARTeast, Carn, Thobz, and Azzy EC. The EP tracklist includes:
