Moliy and Tyla Join Forces for Dancefloor Hit Body Go

Africa’s music scene is heating up as Ghanaian-American singer Moliy and South African star Tyla team up for a new single, Body Go. The track blends R&B, pop, amapiano, and Afrobeats into a high-energy anthem designed for the dancefloor.

Moliy, 24, known for her global hit Shake It to the Max – FLY [Remix], which reached 1 billion streams and was named one of Spotify and TikTok’s Songs of the Summer 2025, said the collaboration felt natural. “When I finished recording, I knew it needed another baddie. I sent it to Tyla and her verse was perfect. Meeting her in New York felt effortless. She even surprised me with flowers for my birthday. That’s when I knew the song had the right energy,” she said.

Tyla, 23, fresh off her Grammy win, embraced the track immediately. “Hearing Body Go for the first time, I thought, ‘Yeah, I need to be on this.’ It’s playful and light. It’s for girls’ nights out, living and moving without overthinking,” she explained.

The production, handled by French producer FRNCH and Grammy-winning DEE/MA, fuses pulsating amapiano basslines with smooth Afrobeats melodies. The sound bridges major African music hubs, including Accra, Johannesburg, Lagos, and Nairobi, making Body Go a potential global dance anthem.

Fans can expect an upbeat, empowering track that celebrates confidence, rhythm, and feminine energy. The song is positioned to dominate playlists, social media, and clubs across Africa and beyond.

Body Go marks a significant moment for both artists, combining Moliy’s international reach with Tyla’s Grammy-winning momentum, creating a collaboration that promises to get everyone moving.
