Tyla Set to Drop Highly Anticipated Single “Chanel”
Global superstar Tyla is preparing to thrill fans with her new single, “Chanel,” following weeks of teasing. The singer announced on Instagram that the track will be released on October 24.
“CHANEL OCT 24. NEXT FRIDAY PRE SAVE LINK IN BIO for the girls fighting me onlineeeee!!!! We did our big one,” Tyla wrote, sharing a snippet of the lyrics: “If you say you love them, put them in Chanel.” The post received over 170,000 likes within hours, with fans expressing excitement and anticipation. Comments included, “Wow, we did it ❤️❤️❤️😭🔥” and “I’M SO HYPED!! ❤️.”
Before the release of “Chanel,” Tyla will appear on another track. On October 17, she will feature on “Body Go,” a collaboration with Ghanaian singer and songwriter Moliy, known for her hit “Shake It to the Max.” Tyla has shared a snippet of the afrobeats track on Instagram Stories, giving fans an early preview.
Moliy, who gained international recognition with her 2021 single “Sad Girlz Luv Money” featuring Amaarae and Kali Uchis, has previously charted on the US Billboard Hot 100 and the UK Singles Chart. In 2024, she released “Shake It to the Max (Fly)” with Jamaican-born producer Silent Addy, which reached number one on the UK Afrobeats Singles Chart and number 13 on the UK Singles Chart.
