Cindy-Louise Drops New Glitter-Pop Single ‘Holiday’

South African singer Cindy-Louise has released her latest single, ‘Holiday,’ a sun-soaked glitter-pop anthem designed for beach days, road trips, and the festive December rush. Produced in collaboration with long-time creative partner CaliBeats (Callum Melville), the track blends playful vocal rhythms, shimmering production, and glitter-pop melodies that instantly evoke golden sunsets, coastal glamour, and the relaxed energy of summer.

‘Holiday’ celebrates freedom, confidence, and the festive spirit in South Africa. Cindy-Louise reveals that the track started as a solo project, with the goal of capturing the excitement of summer and December holidays. “Growing up, December was always about trips to Durban or Cape Town, sunshine, beaches, and that unmistakable festive buzz in the air,” she explains.

The song was written and developed in Cindy-Louise’s home studio. Initially a playful idea, it evolved into a collaboration when CaliBeats added dynamic vocal sections. Cindy-Louise says his contribution elevated the track. “It was fresh, dynamic, and everything clicked – that’s when I knew ‘Holiday’ had to become a collaboration,” she notes.

The track balances sophisticated, fashion-forward pop with carefree summer fun. Its visuals, shot by Shaun Leighton (SLAM), emphasize Cindy-Louise’s cinematic and style-led identity, bringing her signature “main character era” aesthetic to life. She describes the song’s vibe as “being that stunning beach babe on a romantic getaway, living her best holiday life: caviar, late mornings, and iced lattes by the sea.”

‘Holiday’ marks Cindy-Louise’s continued evolution into modern glitter pop, nu-disco, and dance-oriented sounds. It showcases her theatrical flair, vocal power, and ability to craft breezy, contemporary music that embodies summer escapism. The single positions her as a rising force in South Africa’s pop scene, blending style, energy, and seasonal joy into a track built for the festive season.
