Mi Casa Return with Fiery New Anthem ‘Ter Mais’

South African house trio Mi Casa has returned with a sizzling new single, “Ter Mais,” released on Friday, November 7th via 34 Music. The track has already garnered attention from top radio stations, including Metro FM, Good Hope FM, YFM, 947, and Amazing Radio, signaling a strong start for the summer season.

Since their breakthrough with “These Streets,” Mi Casa has built a reputation for creating music that combines infectious rhythms with messages of unity, love, and positivity. Their lyrics and visuals consistently reject the objectification of women, focusing instead on respect, joy, and togetherness. This approach has helped them connect with fans across generations and borders.

Formed in Johannesburg in 2011, the trio—Dr. Duda, J’Something, and Mo-T—has spent over a decade shaping African house music. They blend house, jazz, funk, kizomba, pop, and soul into a signature sound that is warm, vibrant, and irresistibly danceable. Over the years, they have collaborated with global artists such as Drake, Black Coffee, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Yemi Alade, and The Layabouts, extending their influence far beyond South Africa.

“Ter Mais” features Portuguese vocals and captures Mi Casa’s signature energy and soulful storytelling. J’Something explained that the song is about appreciating what you have and realizing that love is already abundance. He said, “‘Ter Mais’ asks, ‘do I really need more when I already have you?’ It’s music made to connect and spread joy, and we hope everyone enjoys it as much as we do.”

Mi Casa will bring their live energy to audiences across Southern Africa this summer. Upcoming shows include the Kirstenbosch Summer Sunset Concerts in Cape Town on November 23, HughFest ‘25 in Johannesburg on November 30, South Beach in Mozambique on December 6, BLANKETS & WINE in Nairobi from December 20 to 22, and Candles by Candlelight NYE in the Western Cape on December 31.

“Ter Mais” is poised to dominate radio waves and playlists, solidifying Mi Casa’s position as one of South Africa’s most dynamic house music acts.
