Monique Bingham and Black Coffee Celebrate 10 Years of “Deep In The Bottom (Of Africa)” with Electrifying Remix EP

Monique Bingham and Black Coffee are marking a decade since their iconic house track “Deep In The Bottom (Of Africa)” with a high-energy Remix EP set to dominate dancefloors globally. Monique reflects on the milestone: “It’s wild to think it’s already been a decade. And even wilder to see how this track has touched the world. To celebrate, I called on some of the most innovative DJ/producers from South Africa to put their own magic on our classic.”
The remix journey begins with Jazzworx, a rising star who adds his signature 3Step groove to the track. His melodic, soulful take provides a fresh interpretation that is already gaining attention in clubs and online streams.
Monique continues to champion Black women in music through contributions from leading female DJs. DBN Gogo delivers a sleek, sophisticated Amapiano remix dubbed “private school,” while Thandi Draai injects her version with high-voltage Afro Tech energy, designed for peak-time DJ sets.
The EP also features a powerhouse lineup of South African producers across house genres. Sir LSG brings a deep, soulful version that balances class and danceability. Citizen Deep offers an Afro House remix enriched with spicy 3Step rhythms. 2wo Bunnies close the project with a gritty, streetwise Amapiano remix that targets true dancefloor enthusiasts.
From 3Step to Amapiano, Afro Tech to Deep House, “The Remixes Pt. 1” highlights South Africa’s creative diversity and injects new life into a timeless anthem. Monique emphasizes the collaborative spirit: “Working with this incredible talent has been a joy. It’s not just about honoring what Coffee and I created, but bringing that same fire to today’s dancefloors — and introducing a whole new generation to our music.”
The remix EP, Monique Bingham & Black Coffee – Deep In The Bottom (Of Africa) Remixes Pt. 1, releases on November 14, 2025, and will be available on all streaming platforms.
