Sun-El Musician Announces Fourth Studio Album Under the Sun

Sun-El Musician has officially unveiled his highly anticipated fourth studio album, Under the Sun, signaling a bold new phase in his career as one of South Africa’s leading producers, composers, and musical storytellers. Known for blending soulful, future-focused production with African rhythm and emotion, he expands his sound with this ambitious project.
The album reunites long-time collaborators including Msaki, Ami Faku, and Mthunzi, while featuring an extensive lineup of African and global artists such as Zakes Bantwini, Chronical Deep, Youngr, Heavy-K, Thakzin, Manana, Nasty C, and Deborah Cox. The collaborations reflect a fusion of innovation, soul, and African musical spirit, building on Sun-El Musician’s reputation for creating emotive, rhythm-driven tracks.
Under the Sun also provides a platform for emerging talent. Rising artists like Monna Hela, Mavhungu Mueda, Sai Hle, and Tefo Foxx contribute to the album, reinforcing Sun-El Musician’s commitment to nurturing the next generation of African music voices.
Ahead of the album release, scheduled for 13 February 2026, Sun-El Musician dropped a summer sampler to set the tone for the South African summer. The sampler includes standout tracks such as Umlungu Wami featuring Zakes Bantwini, Imali featuring Ami Faku and Tefo Foxx, Muloro featuring Thakzin and Mavhungu, Another Minute featuring Youngr, and fan favourites Koyika and The Rise.
