Makhadzi Returns to the Studio Amid Recovery

Limpopo singer Makhadzi has shared an encouraging update with fans, revealing that she has returned to the studio to record new music while recovering from a recent car accident. The 29-year-old, whose real name is Ndivhudzannyi Ralivhona, posted a video on social media showing herself in a physical therapy session with a newly recorded song playing in the background.
She explained that the recording came from a beat she had received some time ago but hadn’t used until now. “My physio started attending me yesterday. After the session I was lonely. I decided to record myself this song, got the beats from the guy didn’t know, I think he sent me this beat a long time ago and didn’t see it. But I’m coming back, I’m healing,” Makhadzi wrote. The post highlighted her determination to keep creating music despite being temporarily unable to perform.
Makhadzi further assured fans that more music is on the way. “I’m coming back soon… I can see and talk… counting down. I recorded this song last night… I was feeling lonely… keep sending me beats… I will be working on them,” she said, signaling that her time in recovery will also be a period of artistic output.
The singer was involved in a car accident on 31 December 2025 while travelling from Limpopo to Johannesburg. She announced she would recover at home for 10 weeks to allow her injuries to heal. According to Lucky Tshilimandila, spokesperson for Makhadzi Entertainment, the accident occurred when some team members exited the vehicle to check a noise, and Makhadzi was struck by a passing car.
Despite the setback, Makhadzi’s studio activity shows her commitment to her craft. Fans can look forward to new music recorded during her recovery, marking a creative chapter even while she heals.
