Are The SA Music Awards Snubbing ZCC Gospel On Purpose? – Simon Makgatholela, Kenny Makweng and Ronee Sethekge established a fight, campaign denouncing the Samas for favouritism.

We have been having grievances in amid stars circulating all the other genres  – The SA Music Awards (SAMAs,) there has been constant lash out’s on how it has lost value in the music arena, it no longer celebrates music as it should but rather diminishes its core. Now, reported by Sowetan Live, Sibisi has given his word to schedule a meeting with these artists to discuss the matter.  

“The Samas are open to all music and do not discriminate against any genre. We have invited them to explain why they feel we are discriminating against ZCC music.” 

They birthed the initiative of the campaign following the 25th annual Samas were publicized in the previous month. If you can still recall under the  Best Traditional Faith Music Album classification with the likes of Lebo Sekgobela, Spirit Of Praise, Sipho Ngwenya and Paul just to name a few. They asserted the only time there mentioned of ZCC gospel was when the death occurred of the late Kodi in the year 2014. 

“We have suffered a lot and we cannot allow the situation to continue. We are deciding to stand together and fight this now,” Makgatholela exclaimed.
