Pics! DJ Shimza Gives Back To A Local Primary School In Thembisa – Local DJ and producer DJ Shimza is persistent and keeps on shining light of his township Tembisa, Ekurhuleni.

The prominent star has always been the pillar for the community for years, he has seen a problem in the community and stretched his hand to make a difference. He ushered to social media to share images of him in a local primary school to give back to those in need in his township.

Shimza, whose real name is Ashley Kholofelo Raphala (30) launched the charity organisation by giving back to his community in the far previous years through his One Man Show.

Mr Raphala is running an annual drive to donate school shoes to disadvantaged children. The DJ, who started this campaign in 2010, was this year able to collect a massive 3,000 pairs from an initial drive that started with 250 pairs.

Early this year in January 2019 he donated 3000 quality shoes, to the deprived, disadvantaged kids, this Samaritan act was hosted at the Rabosotho Hall In Thembisa.

Now, He took to social media on the 9th of July 2019 to share images of the second term of school, as they open today coming from June holidays, to share images of the happy kids with their new shoes.
