Watch! Busiswaah As The Midnite Starring@Maxslifestyle – She used to squat at her friend’s place in Durban. She dropped out of varsity at that time. She used to be broke and did a few (odd) jobs, Waitressing and working at a hair salon.

Although all of that is in the past, she is a powerhouse in the music scene and she has shaped how we perceive the house/gqom music scene.

Busi has explicated that back when gqom was still ‘an underground’ sound, she discovered herself in Durban and got introduced to the sound. As you know she was spotted by beatmakers at a poetry session and recorded a song, S’yaphambana , and you know following that she was found Oskido.

“So when DJ Zinhle was set to release her song, My Name Is, which was supposed to be an instrumental single. Then Oskido was like, ‘nah man, where’s that girl… where’s that voice,'” she explained.

Busiswaah took to social media to share visuals of her billboard painting in Durban, her performance AT Maxlifestyle.
