Oscar Bonginkosi Mdlongwa, popularly known by his stage name – Oskido, is a South African recording artist, DJ, record producer and businessman.

He is one of the pioneering artists to popularize the Kwaito genre of music outside the townships of South Africa thus making him be regarded as a premier in the South African music industry. 

He previously took to social media, as usual, to share positive vibes to his followers, that regardless of the past, obstacles or prohibitions, what is important is where you are headed. As long as you are taking the necessary steps in the right direction you will eventually get there.

An aspiring self-made artist responded confirming what he posted was indeed true, in which he mentioned he has designed the Mabhida stadium without physically seeing the design, only through images.

Oskido then made it his mission to introduce the famous Durban stadium to the aspiring artists. He made arrangements for him to be able to fly to Durban and have a closer view of the Mabhida for the first time.
