On Tuesday, people found out that they could not watch the music video for Master KG’s highly acclaimed track ‘Jerusalema’ featuring Nomcebo Zikode. The music video has increased in numbers of views to 65 million views. People thought that the artist was being sabotaged somehow.
People had mixed reactions to why the music video of the musician was not playing on YouTube. One social media user says, “YouTube decided to remove Jerusalem because Master KG is from Limpopo!!” One social media user says, “Why is [YouTube] doing Master KG like this now?” One user says, “YouTube decided to remove Jerusalem by Master KG because it was going to break records all over YouTube.” The artist went on to tell his fans why his music video could not be played on YouTube. “Sorry guys there is some technical issues regarding Jerusalema video on YouTube…It will be back ASAP…,” says Master KG.
However, some people thought that it was due to him allegedly signing the rights of the track to the Warner Music Group. “If this is true then Master KG signed with the worst music company in the world he should have done his research. WMG are known for reporting videos on YouTube, some people are not even part of that company yet their videos get reported and taken down…,” says parody account ‘Man’s Not Barry Roux’. The musician responded by telling people that the video is back on. “Moment of silence for those who thought Jerusalema video was deleted…by the way the video is back let’s keep it moving…I promise this won’t happen again…,” says Master KG.
